I am trying to get anyone interested in Mashone together on the site with a view to getting enough people together to start a Mashona society or club, to keep track of available quality bulls and semen and have a forum where the breed can be promoted, and available stock, including crosses can be advertised. Hi John, are you using any Sanga % in your herd there in OK? the potential to use a 25% Sanga content to improve herding for high density grazing, rumen volume for rough grazing and a high heterosis boost has been discussed widely, but as yet only a few ranchers/farmers have started on this type of cross or composite for northern environments.
