About Me

We have been breeding Tulis in Zimbabwe for over a decade. Due to the challenging conditions farmers all face we have concentated on the Tuli traits of being fertile in tough conditions, tick and disease resistant and is highly adaptable. Our lines make for an excellent commercial cross.

Hi Anne. You are very welcome to come and visit us. Would be great to show you some cattle. I use different factors to rate and select my bulls for instance condition scores on the veld during winter times, cow records, correction on phenotipe and also we use the beefpro program for inbreeding figures. We are also working on a program based on a model Russel Clark designed to find out which cow in your herd gives back the most meat/kg cow carried over a period of time. Hope to hear from you soon.

The revival of the Zim Tuli society is very good news, please keep us all updated with the progress, and post a link here when you are in a position to set up an official website, the home of the Tuli breed will always have a special place on the Sanga site.

Good looking bulls, congratulations. Is good to see that there are still farmers working with the Tuli breed, in challenging conditions!! We have imported embryos from south Africa, unfortunately we can not import genetics from Zimbabwe to argentina; nevertheless lets keep in touch regarding Tuli breed and composite breeds from the tuli's
Best regards,
Luis Balfour
